Engine
Manual models with the standard engine have a top speed of 103mph whereas the automatic version differs slightly with a lower top speed of 102mph. The Mitsubishi Warrior has in addition a more powerful engine with improved chassis and suspension. The automatic transmission, super select 4WD and stable control and traction offer a great advantage to this car model as it adds attraction with its dynamic capabilities. Its strength is as a result of new 4-cylinder 2.5 liter common rail inter cooled and a turbocharged diesel engine.
This is beneficial to the car as it adds value to its horsepower, torque and an increase in fuel economy which cannot be compared to outgoing models. There is an improved all round performance of the new 2477cc unit which delivers with a top speed of 103 mph, increased power from 114bhp to a standard 134bhp and improved torque from 177 to 231lb.ft. Should you be in need of a few more horses under the bonnet, there is availability of a power upgrade to 160bhp from a dealer. We can therefore argue that from an overall perspective, this new engine of the Mitsubishi Warrior performs in a manner that is quieter, cleaner, faster, and more economical and achieves Euro IV emission levels.
